Srinu vaitla who has become the brandmark of comedy entertainers has been in the line of producing family entertainers and his latest flick NamoVenkatesha is also one of the kind. In an interview with the director he said….
What is the response for the movie Namovenkatesha?
“Namovenkatesha reached the expectations and presently it is doing very well at theboxoffice. The reason behind it is the Hero Venkatesh who played a different role in this movie. We are hoping that it will soon break the records of his earlier films.”
Was the script written only to suit the Hero?
“Venkatesh and I are good friends since our college time. He saw my work as an assistant director in Abbayi garu and later as a director in Anandam. The story was just made to suit him as it was my wish to work with him.”
How did u decide the title for the film?
“I actually named it after Lord Venkateshwara when I visited Tirupathi after writing the script. It very well suited the movie.”
How do u manage to make the perfect blend of aspects like entertainment and comedy?
“Entertainment is a universal theme according to me. I observe the characters around me keenly and I portray these on the screen. The story I make is based on which hero I am going to work with.”
Why does u give so much importance to Bhramanandam's role?
“Bhramanadam is a trendsetter and every character I give to him he does it to the fullest. Paris Prasad is one such experiment with him.”
Is Srinu Vaitla all about enetrtainemnt?
“I did movies like Ni Kosam which made its contribution at the awards but could not reach the audience. I take the burden of thinking how to make the audience laugh and from it I come out solving the puzzle. I think doing comedy entertainers is more hectic than action movies.”
Can u tell us about the next movie with Mahesh?
“The movie is based on NorthIndian backdrop and will show Mahesh in a new angle.”
